Runoff from wet weather last weekend and earlier in the week has been working through river systems throughout the region. Peak river levels from this runoff has been achieved, however flows remain high in the far northeast corner of the province, and in lake-influenced areas in the Cariboo Mountains. Flows are expected to remain high, but slowly ease into the weekend. In other areas river levels have been receding and conditions continue to improve. No significant additional rises are expected at this time.

The River Forecast Centre continues to monitor the situation and provides updates as conditions warrant.
